                            Part Time Sales Assistant 

We are looking for a sales assistant to work Fridays & Saturdays, fixed contract September to February

​

As a Sales Assistant for Coalwood Heating Centre you will be delivering excellent customer service to our customers both face to face, over the telephone or online. Working as part of a team you’ll assist with the full end to end selling experience from initial enquiry, order processing to the goods leaving for the installation. From selling and replenishing stock, assisting customers and team members with a variety of tasks including lifting and carrying items of stock, packaging online orders, maintaining product stock you understand there is more to the customer experience than just selling. Merchandising the store and maintaining high shop floor standards. Office Management assistance. On occasions there may be a need to for you to be in the showroom alone so applicants must be over 18.

• Excellent communicator – Sales Assistants needs to initiate contact and communicate confidently, so articulate spoken English is essential
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Previous sales skills would be an advantage but not essential
• Ability to be flexible & adaptable to the needs of the business
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
• Willingness to constantly learn & develop
• Proactive and positive attitude
• Completes work with a limited degree of supervision
• Able to adapt quickly to change and support others

 

What we offer:-

 

• Working Fridays and Saturdays 9.30-5.30pm (Part-time Sales Assistant)

• Salary of up £13.00 per hour.

• Up to 28 holidays per year, including Bank Holidays, pro rata for part time
